Tanya Mishler, M.Ed., is an elementary educator for Goleta Union School District and a continuing lecturer in the teacher education program. She collaboratively supports the learning of best practices and all aspects of instructional design for teacher candidates in elementary field study placements. A teacher education program graduate herself, she is an instructional coach to teachers at all levels.
Mishler's courses are designed as professional learning labs, modeling research-based engagement strategies for teachers to experience as learners and then implement in their elementary classrooms.
Mishler is National Board certified, holds administrative services and bilingual cross-cultural credentials, and was recognized as Goleta's Teacher of the Year.
